I've been reading Lovecraft as it was originally published and I'm really starting to gain some more confidence. His work would have been ripped to pieces if it were based on fundamentals!

We talked about that on another post actually, Lovecraft was sexist, racist, fond of lightening-strikes-that-alone-saved-my-mind endings, and yet somehow he was still awesome. He's like the ultimate exception Don't worry too much about education and qualifications. I am the worst here with punctuation (by far ) and I'm an English major in college (see the good it's done me?). But I'm only about to get my associates and then I'm probably quitting for awhile, so I'm not that well educated. I only started actively learning how to revise my stories in May of 2011 and I learned mostly from books and other writers. College assumes you know all that already (which oh so few do).

I tend to read and read and read some more from other Horror authors. I have a job that allows me nearly 6 hours a day to read, write and study so I'm lucky there. I pride myself on being more self educated than anything else so...I have a problem with structured teaching and authority haha!
