I was reading this again after several years, and I am amazed by how much I can relate!
I found a pdf online (hosted by a university) of Edward Gorey's The Unstrung Harp. It's a short graphic novel about a novelist and his experience of the whole writing, editing, and publishing process. I love this so much!
